Fed: Almost 80pc of workers not paid for overtime: survey

SYDNEY, Feb 20 AAP - Almost 80 per cent of Australians are not paid for working extra
hours and employees on AWA contracts have less choice than others about working overtime,
a survey reveals.

The results of the survey of 3,141 employees conducted by Coredata for news.com.au
comes a day after the federal opposition decided to kill off its unpopular Work Choices
policy completely.

The survey found 92 per cent of those surveyed worked overtime in the week before it
was conducted.
