FED: Crew continues shipping protest despite commission rule
SYDNEY, Feb 27 AAP - The crew of BHP ship Iron Flinders have voted to continue their
on-board sit-in in protest against the company's decision to scrap its trans-Tasman service,
despite an Australian Industrial Relations Commission ruling to return to work.
Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) members bunkered down for the weekend in defiance of the
Commission's order last night to set sail for New Zealand.
